Ipads, Android And The Rest Of The World

There's a growing amount of buzz in the chiropractic profession regarding iPhone apps for practices. Most chiropractors haven't even thought about having a chiropractic app built, though. It's so fairly new and the industry has a tendency to be behind. We are witnessing a once-in-a-lifetime phenomenon, though. Mobile apps are replacing traditional websites. In the same regard smart phones are taking the place of computers. Chiropractors need to observe what's going on or they'll be hurting this year.

Just as an old tyre needs patches to repair it's punctures, so does the fledgling smartphone operating system need apps to smooth over missing functionality. Take the example of Swype, a text-input app preloaded onto the Samsung Galaxy S to make up for the lack of a decent touchscreen keyboard. Why not just make a better keyboard? As Operating Systems start plugging these holes, the need for the humble app is sure to plummet. Consider the much-rumoured Facebook phone. Zuckerberg (the Facebook CEO) clearly isn't satisfied with a Facebook app to provide the heaviest of smartphone users with their latest social networking fix. They need total operating system integration! Bad news for the app.

One word of caution though... Do NOT over use the Push Notification feature. This can be interpreted at SPAM, so please don't abuse it. Treat your new App Subscribers just like you would your email list and provide value first, then create the hunger and desire for your products and services and the sales will naturally follow.

When it comes to Mobile Apps, the Wildfire allows you the luxury of enjoying these apps straight from the Android Market. This does not end here. For every mobile application you find interesting, you can easily share the link of these apps to your friends and send it directly to their mobile phones.

There are countless things mobile applications can do to the whole mobile experience. They offer entertainment, information, and so much more. They allow us to customize our phones and make them more our own. They allow phones to adjust to us and not the other way around.

Ah - now the interesting part. How do people become aware of your app? In the long run, think about it this way - if you record a song and put it on iTunes, are you going to get rich? Probably not unless you are already a successful artist. Sure there are a few hits that grow in popularity there, but for the most part, just putting something on iTunes isn't good enough.

Around 30 billion mobile apps have been downloaded by the users so far. It shows people love apps as they want to customize their devices with things website that they actually like. I believe that three apps listed here would deliver the magic for users. As these apps won't cost much, one can certainly try them!
